Description:
Roof ornaments in an abandoned early 20th century mansion in the Old Town of Xanthi, NE Greece. During the boom in the trade of tobacco in the region in the late 19th and early 20th century, many such mansions were build in Xanthi from merchants involved in the tobacco trade.
